This ring is both elegant as delicate in design with a beautiful vibrant green emerald (ca. 4 mm large)!
This emerald almost appears to have a slight dark seagreen tinge to it, and it has natural inclusions. I can keep looking at it, and some part of me hopes I might keep it later on:) But I believe destiny will decide where and to whom this ring belongs to. Emeralds are special, personally I like them more than diamonds and a good emerald can even be more valuable than a diamond. Emeralds are so soulful for me, when I hold them they move something in me. They also symbolize deep and everlasting love. I dedicated a song from Caroline Cotter - My Evergreen to it. Emerald is a relatively soft stone - take good care of it and it will take care of you!
I will add some better pictures later on after the 5th of October, it was something i made on the last day before leaving for the Liebe Ist Messe…Hannover; I just really wanted to take it with me!
This ring will only be sold as is, not resized! It is possible to request a custom order with a similar stone. Note that emerald is quite valuable - similar to a ruby - hence the price! It apparently had become 8x more expensive since I left goldsmithing school in 2005.
I can make a custom order in this style. With a granate, onyx, peridot, moonstone, labradorite etc the price would be more around 350-400 euro. With a larger emerald, the price will increase and the style might change a little. If you would prefer a facetted stone, or a diamond, please contact me for a custom order option. A facetted stone will have a claw setting.
